Egyptian singer, songwriter and composer with Nubian roots
She started singing in school before having the world of music open up to her, which is when she joined several musical projects such as “El Tamey Musical Theater” & “The Choir Project” during her years of college.
In 2011 started to write and compose her own originals, what she feels and express in words and musical notes meanwhile she was always seeking to learn and develop; have participated in several workshops with Egyptian musician Grammy award winner “Fathy Salama” “Nevein Allouba” “ Sheikh Mahmoud Zein”
Her VOICE is leading
Once you hear her voice, you can recognize it on radio and TV jingles and ads. She’s the voice of "دوق اللحظة" and "الجمعة الجاية أحلى" campaign by Coca Cola and many more ads.
Herky launched her solo music project in 2014 and is still carrying her dream on. She released 3 originals from her debut album “Ne’eish Be’eid” and many single songs and collaborations. She was featured at GFF2020 and had her first acting role at the huge paranormal Netflix series "ما وراء الطبيعة" with a big success.
Looking to the Future
The voice of Nuba "Nesma Herky" released her first EP in October 2023 called "TAYRA" a soulful and authentic album experience. The album showcases her experimentation with a modernized version of herself, blending Nubian-Egyptian roots with captivating contemporary tunes, deep knowledge of music, and francophone educational background. The EP takes us on a journey, starting with the desire to uplift ourselves, experiencing deliberate setbacks and healing from past wounds, to ultimately finding our own voice.
